Inside the studio with Ashlyn
About Me
Ashlyn Madden has carved a space for herself in the world of animation since she made the trek from a small town in Northern California to Los Angeles where she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Ashlyn got her start in commercials, TV and film. You might catch her covered head to toe in live snakes on the Halloween episode of the hit FOX show Bones, appearing alongside Ed Harris in the American thriller Phantom or in a National Pepsi commercial during the Super Bowl.
Her first break-out animated role was as Midge Hadley, Barbie's best friend, in the popular Netflix series "Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse." With her career gaining momentum, Ashlyn joined the legendary DC Universe as Lego Batgirl for Lego DC Superhero Girls, later reprising the role for the Warner Brothers 2D series.
More recently, you can find Ashlyn appearing as part of the main cast of Ridley Jones, a series by Doc McStuffins creator Chris Nee. The Netflix series has been nominated for multiple GLAAD awards for Outstanding Children’s Programming.
Today, Ashlyn is voicing the lead character Sam in Evergreen Hills. The pilot episode has already hit an astonishing milestone of 200 million views. Season 1 is set to premiere November 2024.
When not in the recording studio, she loves to spend time in her garden, perfect her 12-hour bolognese sauce and pour over the endless ebbs and flows of the stock market.
